Hoglins are a semi intelligent breed of nomadic, pack minded predators, who scour the woods eating anything in sight. Their size ranges form a large dog to a small person, but are identifiable by their hog like bodies, thick matted fur, and smoshed faces.  Experts of mimicry, Hoglins have in recent years adapted to walking on two legs, and scattered reports have been flooding in of groups making use of crude tools and discarded equipment. Patrols around the capitol suspect that their late night combat exercises have accidentally been training tribes of Hoglins in the art of the sword.
