Further up the pass where the winters are dark we find the Mouse Ox, cousin of the blizzard beast. Its powerful, squat body trudges through the deep snow with relative ease. Wild, silver hair protects it from the relentless howling winds and provides cover when settling down for its extended sleep cycle.
